Finding Balance through Community

Life is not meant to be lived alone. Humans were designed to live in community. To live connected to others through the sharing of  experiences, both pleasurable and tragic. The joining together of hearts and souls and lives through connected living of life’s moments, ordinary and extraordinary. Without community, balance in our emotional lives is difficult, if not impossible, to attain.

The beautiful women at (in)courage understand this very well. They have created a safe and loving online environment where women all over the world can connect to find balance in the chaos of life. And on the weekend of April 26, 2013, the inspired women of in(courage) have set the date for a worldwide “girls’ weekend” to be shared online and in homes all over the world. A time to love and laugh and chatter and eat and enjoy each others’ company…a time to be in community…a time to connect…a time to refocus…a time to find balance.

This incredible event is called (in)RL, “born out of two years spent listening to women in the comments at (in)courage craving local, real life community. Derived from the social media acronym “IRL” or “in real life,” (in)RL is an invitation to share what we’ve learned about community and encourage women with stories and suggestions for connecting deeper in real life.”

There’s a ton of information on this incredible event at (in)RL and you can check out this video for a 4 minute glimpse at what it’s all about!

This is a FREE event and for those of you in my local area, I would LOVE for you to join me at the group I am hosting. Here is the link for you to sign up. For those of you who are in other areas, check out the (in)RL site for groups in your area, or sign up to host one of your own for you and your friends!

I am thrilled to be a part of the (in)courage community and feel blessed to be part of this (in)RL event! Hope you check it out and join us, because we all need community to help balance the chaos and emptiness of life with a little joy, laughter and friendship!
